Byzantine Icons by Shirley Robilotto
My brother, Fr. Ron, used to be the right hand man to Bishop now Metropolitan Nicholas, in Johnstown, PA. Phil Zimmerman, former school teacher had a super natural experience and he changed his profession and answered God's call to write icons. Phil went to my brothers church in Johnstown.
My birthday gift was a week lesson in writing Sleeping Jesus at New Florence, PA. That was my first experience in writing the traditional Byzantine icons with Phil Zimmerman. What a brother and what a gift! I have been blessed and I thank God for each day as we share life together. |
